The Rescue Station is a vibrant hub that encourages innovation, creativity, growth and participation in all areas of the Arts. It includes a multi faceted aspect that enhances local history and culture, and extends its creativity to the external environment, takes responsibility for stewardship, considers the impact of all its activities and uses sustainable methods.

The Rescue Station is a positive, important asset of the Bass Coast Community and beyond, through partnerships, education, and provision for the development and promotion of the Arts. It is a high profile facility, which provides access for all (physical, ages, times, disciplines).

The State Coal Mine Rescue Station Arts Inc acknowledges it is situated on the traditional homelands of the Bunurong/Boonwurrung people and we pay our respects to their Elders – past, present and emerging.
