Open Access Arts

Rescue Station Arts offers regular arts activities free to the community. All are welcome to attend!

In 2021 The Rescue Station opened its doors for Open Access. These activities have given opportunity to the community to come and connect with other artists with the same or similar interests, and to introduce the wider community to different art mediums and activities they may not have tried before. It has fostered community connections, networking and skills development, especially given the isolation felt due to COVID lockdowns.

Open Access is for all those people who want to explore their creativity and experiment. Sessions are facilitated by experienced tutors who are artists in their own right.  Participants have included visual artists, writers and poets from beginners to experienced practitioners, musicians and dancers.
